On this page, national ELACTA associations will find sample notifications to their members regarding the changes to access to Lactation & Breastfeeding. They can copy, translate and modify the sample notifications as they wish.
This notification for existing members will probably need to be sent at least three times to ensure that everyone sees it, possibly using different communication methods, e.g. conference announcement, letter, email. When you send a letter by post, you can use QR codes for the complete registration link. Free QR generators are available on the internet.
As a member of our association, you are eligible to read the ELACTA journal Lactation & Breastfeeding and take the accompanying CERPs tests. Until now, members have been able to download issues of Lactation & Breastfeeding as PDF files from the website using a password. From 2026 onwards, Lactation & Breastfeeding will be published as an online journal. To enable you to read the full texts, we are going to grant access to you. Later on you will need to log in using your personal login details. One of the major advantages of the change is that articles can be translated into a range of languages directly in the browser (e.g. using Google Translate in the Chrome browser, a Deepl-addon in other browsers etc.), making them easier to understand. Of course, AI translation isn’t always perfect. However, we hope that access to Lactation & Breastfeeding will become easier following this changeover, so that all our members can benefit from the articles and the CERPs tests. By joining you also agree to the Data Protection Declaration and the Terms and Conditions, and consent to receiving the newsletter, which provides information from the editorial team about new issues and the CERPs tests.
